⚓ Charting Your Course to Imperia
For this week, we recommend flying into Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA). It is the closest major airport to Imperia and offers good connections from many UK and European airports.
From Genoa Airport, the easiest option is to take a short shuttle, taxi or local train connection to Genoa's main railway stations (Genova Piazza Principe or Genova Brignole) and then catch a direct Trenitalia service to Imperia Railway Station. The train journey typically takes around 1 hour 20–40 minutes and runs regularly throughout the day.
The railway journey along the Ligurian coast is an adventure in itself, passing colourful fishing villages, rugged cliffs and stunning Mediterranean views before arriving in Imperia.
